New Delhi: The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Wednesday launched the 'Network Anubhav Platform', a geospatial dashboard that brings together consumer-generated speed and call test data along with regulator's own independent drive test results.

The platform also provides a web interface for Do Not Disturb (DND) services.

The user test data comes from TRAI's MySpeed and MyCall apps.

Consumers can view results on interactive maps, sorted by cellular or fixed broadband, by service provider and by technology.

The parameters include download and upload speeds and users can zoom in to see where tests were conducted and use filters, legends, tables and downloadable reports to interpret the data.

Telecom service providers can access call quality, coverage and internet test data, including location, date and time, through a secure interface.

TRAI said telcos can use it to identify problem areas and improve their networks.
